And I realized that my Heavenly Father is the same. He knows my shortcomings, but He does not condemn me for them. I know that I am forgiven, and I feel that He is asking me to forgive myself too.

He wants me to celebrate what is here now. He wants me to stop mourning what cannot be changed and instead do what I can to serve my girls by being the mother they need now.

When we come to Him with our broken hearts and our desire to hear Him, we will feel His Spirit and His power. We may not understand everything He is trying to teach us right away, but we can feel His presence. We can feel His love. We can feel His power.

No matter our stage of life or economic standing, we possess something of value: ourselves. Money, influence, and recognition may expand reach, but the most meaningful influence often happens one heart at a time.

From being the eldest daughter of uneducated parents to becoming a senior civil engineer at one of the largest solar utility consulting firms in the United States—by human standards, it seems improbable.

Yet here I am.

The key to happiness is not to do more, but to do less—with intentionality.

I have a testimony that God desires a place in our hearts and in our lives. I have heard His voice when I was in the dark. He gave me comfort when I was overwhelmed, courage when I was afraid, and love when I felt unlovable and beyond redemption.

And, behold, thou art my son; wherefore look, and I will show thee the workmanship of mine hands; but not all, for my works are without end, and also my words, for they never cease.

There is real power in asking, seeking, and knocking. These are not passive actions; they require effort, intent, and faith. When work is paired with faith, it can produce outcomes beyond our own capacity.

His gifts often come as the means rather than the finished provision, inviting us to receive, trust, and act in faith.
